Testing Requirements
The following tests are required before you can be hired for a Security Guard position:
ISP Course List:
IS-7
IS-100.hcb
IS-200.hca

IS-700.a

Training and Testing Requirements
Security Guard Training
Security Guards are trained in CPR, First Aid, proper patrol procedures, bomb threat procedures and fire drill procedures.
Additional training that may be required is on the job training, and refresher training, which is tailored to meet our client’s needs: workplace violence, drivers training, protecting company assets, trespass and disorderly persons, human and public relations, flip chart and manual testing. We take pride in the
quality of our employees.
Basic requirements for Unarmed Security Guards
in Michigan
• Must be at least 18 year old.
• Must be a United States citizen or
registered resident alien.
• Must have a high school diploma or
equivalent.
• May be required to submit to drug
testing (This is not required by the
State, but may be required by
hiring agency).
• Successfully pass a background
check.
Other Basic Requirements that are helpful
• Driver’s License
• Good physical conditioning
• Be able to stand long periods of time
• Good Communication skills

- BLACK TIE
